One of BYU-Idaho's four core themes is to deliver affordable education to students and the Church. That is one of the main reasons BYU-Idaho offers concurrent enrollment general education classes to junior and senior high school students. With certain courses, students can earn both high school and college credit at the same time, saving students time and money.

REXBURG, Idaho—Brigham Young University-Idaho is pleased to present “Let the Light In,” a collection of some of the best performances from the university’s past Christmas concerts, on Idaho Public Television (IdahoPTV) this holiday season.

With the recent release of BYU-Idaho’s COVID vaccination rates, the university has received a better view of what the current COVID-19 situation is for those in the campus community.

REXBURG, Idaho – Elder Brent H. Nielson, General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, will address 2,787 graduates at Brigham Young University-Idaho’s 2021 Fall Semester Commencement on Wednesday, December 15, 2021. The live event will be held at 6:00 p.m. in the BYU-Idaho Center and streamed live at www.byui.edu/live/video. This will be the first in-person commencement held on campus since December 2019.

REXBURG, Idaho—Official Fall 2021 Semester enrollment totals at Brigham Young University-Idaho show steady enrollment among both campus and online students who are continuing to pursue their academic goals despite a world-wide pandemic.

Members of the BYU-Idaho community (students, faculty, staff, and community) are invited to submit original hymn texts for use in the seventeenth annual BYU-Idaho Hymn Festival to be held in the spring of 2022.

BYU-Idaho employees are commissioned with the unique role and responsibility of preparing students for their future careers while developing them into devoted disciples of Jesus Christ. Elder Quentin L. Cook of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles encouraged the employees and faculty of BYU-Idaho to continue in their efforts to strengthen and build students’ faith in the Savior during his address at this semester’s All-Employee Meeting.

Those who teach at BYU-Idaho can inspire students to become disciples of Jesus Christ. BYU-Idaho faculty recently gathered on Zoom for their annual fall semester faculty meeting to discuss how they can do just that.
