REXBURG, Idaho—The Brigham Young University-Idaho Department of Theater and Dance is excited to present its production of “Robin Hood” in the Black Box Theater. This lighthearted, and family-friendly production will run from June 29 to July 2, and from July 5 to July 9 at 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and 2:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
The play, written by Gregory Banks and directed by BYU-Idaho theater faculty member Trevor Hill, has a cast of only four members, and a crew of 30.
“It has those heroic, swashbuckling elements to it, and a little bit of romance,” Hill said of the play, “but there’s also a lot of fun. And part of the fun comes because we have such a small cast.”
The play has some interactive elements that will involve audience members. The interactive quality of the play will make it a fun experience for individuals and families.
“I really hope that audiences have fun with the immersive experience that they are going to have,” Hill said.
The run time of the play is about 1 hour and 20 minutes, perfect for families and younger children.
