Welcome to the BYU-Idaho Department of Music

The BYU-Idaho Department of Music fosters a student-centered atmosphere of cooperative and synergistic learning, working together to help each student achieve the highest possible musical standards. Small class sizes and studios facilitate more individual attention, with greater performance and leadership opportunities. We offer a full palette of performance, music education, and liberal arts degrees, with highly qualified faculty, including 22 full-time and over 40 adjunct faculty members.
