Eligible Students Welcome at the BYU-Idaho Counseling Center
The BYU-Idaho Counseling Center values diversity and equality. We realize that discrimination, prejudice, and systemic forms of power and privilege impact the lives of our students. As a mental health agency, we seek to affirm diversity, condemn oppression in every form, and encourage use of our services by all BYU-Idaho students. Eligible* students of all race, ethnicity, nationality, gender, age, disability, socioeconomic status, religious belief (or nonbelief), and sexual orientation are welcome for counseling services. We seek to help all feel welcomed, respected, and appreciated. All counseling services are confidential and not part of a student’s academic record.
* Students are eligible to meet with a mental health counselor if they are assigned to a track, registered for at least 6 credits, and reside in the state of Idaho.
