Lachlynn Golder is a young student from Madison High School who won first place at the school’s Business Pitch Competition. Her winning idea, “Lachlynn’s Closet” focuses on upcycling old blankets and quilts and turning them into fashionable hoodies and crewnecks.

This Saturday the City of Rexburg is Hosting a 5K called the Teton Dam Tune Up to get runners ready for the Teton Dam Marathon.

BYU-Idaho introduces a new course, BYUI 101: Experience BYU-Idaho, to help incoming freshman students learn about various campus resources and find a community within their peers. Don Bingham, a faculty member and the course lead for the class, highlights the numerous benefits BYUI 101 will have for first semester.

This week’s BYU-Idaho devotional speaker centered his talk around the importance of finding joy and blessings in everyday life, even when enduring trials. Nate Wise, the director of intellectual property at BYU-Idaho, called his talk, “A Blessed and Happy State.”

REXBURG—In an attempt to foster an entrepreneurial spirit among high school students, Madison High School recently hosted a “Shark Tank” styled competition where students could pitch their independent businesses for a chance to win a monetary prize.

REXBURG—A BYU-Idaho student who is studying agricultural business, won first place in different competitions at the Professional Agricultural Student (PAS) Conference held in Springfield, Illinois.

BYU-Idaho will host First Friday tonight, an event to celebrate the completion of the first week of the semester.

REXBURG—BYU-Idaho kicked off its devotional series for the Spring semester with Brother William Riggins, the director of the Student Honor Office. He’s also the chief inclusion officer at BYU-Idaho. He shared his insights on the significance of temples in the lives of Latter-day Saints. 

One BYU-Idaho student is looking to spread the light of Jesus Christ through his writing. Ty Miller will soon publish a book titled How We Saw Christ on Our Missions. He's written the book all while studying at BYU-Idaho.
