BYU-Idaho's Economics Department hosts a branch of the Professional Agriculture Student Organization which helps provide leadership and career preparation opportunities for BYU-Idaho students looking to enter that field.

The Great Scott Bassoon Octet, a newly formed ensemble at BYU-Idaho, will debut in a free concert at the Eliza R. Snow Building on Tuesday. Formed by happenstance with eight enthusiastic members, the octet offers a unique sonic experience with its combination of bassoons and contra bassoons, while also engaging in a creative grassroots marketing campaign to promote their performance.
