Madison High School has a graduation party for all of the seniors for their efforts near the end of May each year. This year, they will celebrate in the Madison Jr. High building instead.

“So, in years previous, there have been parties that have been done at the junior high. ... A few of the moms that are helping us this year did coordinate and carry out the party at the junior high in the past and said it was so fun and they had no problems making it a night to remember for the seniors,” said Jessica Rydalch, one of the main planners behind the event.

Rydalch says there will be inflatables, cornhole, pickle ball tournaments, Mario Kart and more. She said there will be so many activities there may not be enough time to cover them all. On top of that, Domino’s donated pizza for this event and parents will donate cookies and brownies as well. They are still accepting donations and would love more parents to volunteer as chaperones.

“I'm not typically an all-nighter. Pulling an all-nighter is hard for me, but I had no problem because it was so high energy, so much fun. I was involved in the raffle at that time, and we had so many baskets and so many prizes that we were busy all night long. So that was a highlight and I'm looking forward to that again,” Rydalch said.
