The event offers students an opportunity to present work they’ve done over the semester—preparing them for life after college.

On March 6, 2025, high school and college students throughout Southeast Idaho traveled to Rexburg to participate in BYU-Idaho’s 47th annual Skills USA Regional automotive competition.

REXBURG, Idaho – Elder John C. Pingree Jr., General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, will address 2,403 graduates at Brigham Young University-Idaho’s 2025 Winter Semester Commencement on Friday, April 11, 2025. The event will be held at 12:45 p.m. in the BYU-Idaho Center and streamed live at byui.edu/live/video.

In 2014, Sheryl Moser left Rexburg with her music diploma in hand and over five years of experience as one of the voices of BYU-Idaho’s Collegiate Singers. Soon after, she auditioned for the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square—her home for the last 10 years.

For over 10 years, BYU-Idaho faculty member Tim Rarick has taken groups of family policy students to the United Nations to advocate for marriage and family on the global stage.
