Whether you lived through the ’80s, were born in the ’80s or have parents that were born in the era of neon and shoulder pads, you’ll have a good time at this BYU-Idaho Center Stage concert. Search your closet for your best ’80s outfit to relive the memories, magic, and music of the ’80s at Electric Avenue: The ’80s MTV Experience. The concert will take place on Saturday, May 31, at 7:30 p.m. in the Hart Auditorium.

Each year, two to three BYU-Idaho performing arts groups travel outside of Idaho, showcasing the university’s talented students. This spring, 46 student performers traveled to the Pacific Northwest as part of the BYU-Idaho Symphony Band to play for audiences across Washington state and British Columbia, Canada.

BYU-Idaho created another alumni chapter this spring.

BYU-Idaho Human Performance and Recreation students are lacing up their sneakers, drawing up practice plans, and leading drills this summer as they lead local sports camps—gaining real coaching experience while mentoring the next generation of athletes.

Every Tuesday at 11:30 a.m., students, faculty, and staff gather in the BYU-Idaho Center for the weekly campus devotional. Speakers are selected from university employees, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and friends of BYU-Idaho. In addition, each semester one college hosts a guest speaker for a university forum hour.

BYU-Idaho Center Stage invites the community to continue celebrating the Easter season with a star-studded cast for The Redeemer, a profoundly spiritual and stirring musical production centered around the life and mission of Jesus Christ, on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. in the BYU-Idaho Center.
