The BYU-Idaho Lost and Found serves both those who have lost items and those who find them. The university strongly urges students and others to put their name and personal information on their possessions and encourages everyone to turn found items in to the Lost and Found immediately. E-mail notifications are sent to students and employees when an item is turned in with their name on it.

The Lost and Found desk is also a Help Desk where students can come to ask any question. Our agents are equipped with the tools and knowledge necessary to answer any general question about the University as well as many questions that are not as general such as password resets and making some academic advising appointment.
After hours: There is an ‘After Hour Drop Box’ located at the Help Desk. Please add the location, date, and time you found the item on a sticker note provided above the drop box and place it on the item. It is very important to bring a found item to the Help Desk as soon as you can. It is more likely to be connected back to the owner if it is returned as soon as it is found.
