Child Development (BS)
The Child Development major prepares you for a variety of different jobs. The following list is not comprehensive and one should always remember that job searching takes a lot more work than simply picking from a list. Jobs in this field are being created frequently and there is no end to how one can be effective in this field. Many careers require further training, certification, and education as listed below.

- At-risk Child and Youth Counselor
- Preschool (in-home)
- Preschool (institution)
- After-School Program Director
- Extension Agent: Family Services
- Children's Museum Curator
- Children's Dance Instructor/Dance Therapy (may require more education)
