Academic Societies

BYU-Idaho Academic Societies provide opportunities for students to engage in professional enrichment, participate in service activities, enjoy socializing with other students and faculty members, and gain leadership experience.
We are learning how we can be designers of faith and bring light into our industry and work! Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month in Clarke 343 unless otherwise advertised.

We are a student chapter of National Association for the Education of Young Children and the Idaho Association for the Education of Young Children. We meet one Wednesday a month in the Clarke building. Join the I-Belong group to receive specific information on dates, times, and locations of meetings.

Our mission is to promote personal growth and leadership development through Family and Consumer Sciences education, by focusing on the multiple roles of family member, wage earner, and community leader. Members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, and career preparation.
