If you are at imminent risk for self-harm please go to the Madison Memorial Emergency Room. For individuals who are at risk for harming themselves or are having a similar significant crisis, please text or call 988 to access the National Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.
LGBTQ+ Support Groups
In addition to individual counseling, the Counseling Center offers two support groups to assist BYU-Idaho students in the LGBTQ+ community. Support groups address common issues:
- Social difficulties
- Family tensions
- Other issues that might arise
All LGBTQ+ support groups actively seek to promote an atmosphere of love and understanding in a safe, gospel-centered environment. If you are a current BYU-Idaho student and want to learn more, please contact the Counseling Center.
We do not reject you. . . . We cannot reject you, for you are the sons and daughters of God. We will not reject you, because we love you.
