Local, Temporary, and Personal Service Job Posts
If you need a student for only a few hours, a few days, or a few weeks, the Community Job Board is your place to post your help wanted listings.
BYU-Idaho accepts postings for local, temporary, and personal service jobs, which appear on a Help Wanted Community Job Board for students to view.
Businesses and organizations who seek students for temporary employment can register and post jobs on Handshake.
Policies for Job Postings
University policy does not allow posts on Handshake for the following jobs:
- Third-party recruiting services.
- Direct sales, including but not limited to pest control sales, alarm sales, satellite sales, and door-to-door sales.
- Direct sales companies.
- Other positions that do not appear to fit the University's guidelines for employment postings.
PLEASE NOTE: University policy does not allow posting for direct sales positions AND direct sales companies.
Policies for Help Wanted Postings
The student Help Wanted page is designed for community postings such as personal services, including but not limited to yard keepers, painters, movers, housekeepers, etc. Babysitting and nanny positions are not accepted.
