Spring 2024 opens in the Spori Gallery with the new exhibit, Looking for Something, by well-known painter Justin Wheatley.
Wheatley’s work is all about human surroundings in nature and architecture. This semi-retrospective exhibit brings a unique view to familiar religious concepts and common human dwelling structures. His conceptual pieces are delivered with unique perception, with bold shapes and unexpected details.
His works are collected by many institutions, including The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, The University of Utah, BYU, The Springville Museum of Art, and many private collectors.
