Jackie Rawlins has been working in the city of Rexburg for a long time. She started volunteering in different positions, one of them being the choreographer for the Madison High School musicals. Now she is currently the director for the Museum of Rexburg and the cultural arts director for the city of Rexburg. She has gained a lot of experience serving the community of Rexburg and now she will be moving with her family to Utah.

The Senior Community Center in Idaho Falls is saving and changing the lives of many. One of those lives is Executive Director Valisa Say. She began her work at the Senior Center as one of their Meals on Wheels drivers. This program brings meals to seniors all around the area. Once a day, drivers will deliver meals to hundreds of senior citizens and check up on them. Say says, “...before I started here, I knew nothing about what a nonprofit is, never heard of it...you don’t know what nonprofits do for the community and at what cost.”
The Madison County Commission Chairman will run for the Idaho House of Representatives for the District 34 A seat. Jon Weber has been in the County Commission Chair for Madison County for over 12 years and has been thinking about the future of the state.

Melanie Gygli has worked for the city of Pocatello for 30 years and has had the chance to be in several positions during her time. She has been the community development assistant, assistant planner, grants administrator, divisions manager in neighborhood and community services division and director of planning development for the city of Pocatello. After her three decades of service to the community and the city of Pocatello she will be retiring.
A Madison School District teacher has returned from a trip of a lifetime to Antarctica. Sharee Barton is a coordinator for the district and taught in the middle school in the Alternative Instructional Model or AIM program.
A BYU-Idaho student has started a free ESL class to help anyone who wants to learn English and have the necessary tools to make that a reality. A couple of years ago BYU-Idaho German professor, Brian McDermott had an ESL class for the community of Rexburg, but when he left Idaho the class ended.

Kristen Sanger was six years old when she rescued her first kitten. Now, she is the Executive Director for the Snake River Animal Shelter located in Idaho Falls. Sanger says that her desire to help animals was always natural.
