The Department of Mathematics includes five bachelor’s degrees for students to choose from. The department helps students prepare for a variety of careers using math and helps students see the connection between math and the gospel of Jesus Christ. The event, organized by Laif Morrison, emphasizes skill development, statewide connections, and supports Ronald McDonald House Charities through donations.

Mystic Realms Fantasy Fair hopes to find increased success during its third annual run. The fair invites people to enjoy different events, vendors and character interactions while dressed as their favorite fantasy figure.

On the BYU-Idaho campus there are hundreds of job opportunities for students, including the Peer Mentoring Center. The Peer Mentoring Center can be a great opportunity for students to build their resume through helping others on their college journey, and the center is looking for Fall semester job applicants.

The Portneuf Health Trust, which owns half of Portneuf Medical Center, has an initiative to help people be healthy in eastern Idaho. It also has a new program focused on hiking this summer.
