The Idaho Falls Soup Kitchen reached a landmark moment when it served up its 1 millionth meal on Leap Day, Feb. 29, 2024. It was fitting that the occasion took place on Leap Day as the Soup Kitchen has been a leap faith since it was founded in 1985.

Giménez, a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, addressed BYU-Idaho students about the importance of spiritual awareness amidst worldly distractions, urging listeners to turn to Jesus Christ for strength and guidance. He emphasized the need to remove spiritual "noise-canceling headphones" and actively engage with Christ, sharing his personal witness of Christ's love and presence in our lives.

The Great Scott Bassoon Octet, a newly formed ensemble at BYU-Idaho, will debut in a free concert at the Eliza R. Snow Building on Tuesday. Formed by happenstance with eight enthusiastic members, the octet offers a unique sonic experience with its combination of bassoons and contra bassoons, while also engaging in a creative grassroots marketing campaign to promote their performance.

Isaac Beavin's Game Pulse in Rexburg has flourished for over a decade, offering a haven for tabletop gamers to gather and play for free. With a commitment to community building and weekly events like Magic Night and free miniature painting workshops, Game Pulse fosters friendships and camaraderie among its patrons.

BYU-Idaho’s Department of Music is excited to host the Sacred Music Series Oratorio “That They Might Have Joy.” The concert features a large ensemble of BYU-Idaho’s women and men’s chorus and symphony orchestra.
