BYU-Idaho student Amanda Thueson partners with The Center for Hope to organize a community conversation event on March 19, aiming to raise awareness about substance abuse struggles in Idaho Falls. Thueson's initiative brings together stakeholders from various sectors to foster dialogue, share resources and address the issue collectively, emphasizing the importance of community support in overcoming substance abuse challenges.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities expanded to Eastern Idaho five years ago, with the 5th Annual Fundraising for Families event aiming to raise $70,000 to support families with ill or injured children at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center. Director Lori Priest emphasizes community engagement and sponsorship support, highlighting the event's goal of raising awareness about RMHC's mission while providing a "home away from home" for families in need.

Dalton, former Young Women General President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, delivered an address at BYU-Idaho titled "The Lord Will Lead Thee by the Hand," emphasizing the importance of preparing to become faithful covenant leaders in the latter days through developing a covenant relationship with God. Drawing inspiration from scripture and citing President Thomas S. Monson as an exemplary covenant leader, Dalton highlights the significance of charity and promises those who embrace this path to hear the voice of the Lord and walk with the Savior by their side.

The BYU-Idaho Admissions Office offers an inexpensive concurrent enrollment program for high school juniors and seniors.
