Food Sciences: Management Emphasis (B.S.)

Food science management focuses on the business side of food science, including accounting, marketing, operations, and human resources. This major leads students to a meaningful and impactful career in food science and sets them on the right track towards an MBA. With a background in both science and business, food science management gives students a variety of options on their path.

At BYU-Idaho, the management emphasis in food science is built for students who love food and business. You can take all the core classes in food science, like food processing and product development, and still have time for business classes in management and human resources.
