Art Education Composite: Illustration (B.A.)

Teach students about illustration and help them become more creative. This emphasis gets you ready to teach both illustration and general art classes.

Students Will:
  • Learn how to teach painting, drawing, and other mediums
  • Help students organize their artwork into stories
  • Learn how to teach artistic processes and develop curriculum
  • Study ways to assess student work and manage a classroom
  • Prepare to earn Idaho teacher certification with an Art endorsement for grades K–12
