About Jake Scott

Jake Scott is a multi-platinum-certified singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist who consistently connects with audiences through his honest songwriting and heartfelt storytelling. A Fayetteville, Arkansas native now based in Los Angeles, Scott first caught attention with his 2013 debut EP, Of Life and Love and Longing, which landed on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and earned him a publishing deal with GRAMMY Award-winning songwriter and producer David Hodges.

Beginning in 2018, Scott set himself apart by independently writing, producing, and releasing one new song every month for three straight years — a strategy that grew his audience from a few thousand listeners to millions and built a devoted, fast-growing fanbase. That momentum caught the attention of Elektra Records, and Scott has since tallied nearly one billion total streams and averages millions of monthly listeners.

Along the way, Scott joined forces with Russell Dickerson for “She Likes It,” a collaboration that has gathered more than 300 million streams, earned a 2x Platinum certification from the RIAA, and picked up a nomination for Collaborative Video of the Year at the CMT Awards. As a songwriter, he has penned songs recorded by artists including Morgan Wallen, Jason Mraz, Aloe Blacc, and Sara Evans, and has delivered memorable performances on TODAY, Good Morning America, and The Kelly Clarkson Show. He sold out every date of his first headline tour in 2022 and released his debut album, Lavender, on Elektra Records in October 2023.
