Accessibility
Your comfort and enjoyment are important to us. Please inform the Ticket Office of any accommodations we can make when ordering your tickets. A full list of available services is below. If a service needed is not listed below, please contact the Ticket Office, and every effort will be made to ensure you have the best possible experience in our venues.
Wheelchair Accessibility
- All venues at BYU-Idaho have accessibility access and space. Guests and visitors need to bring their own wheelchairs, scooters, or other needed equipment and supplies. Accessibility spaces in the Hart main gym/auditorium also come with power supply/outlets to plug into.
- For events requiring tickets, to ensure that accessible seating remains available for guests with mobility needs and their companions, these tickets are exclusively available for purchase in person at our Box Office or by calling (208) 496-3170. Our staff is ready to assist you in selecting the best available accessible seating.
Auditory and Visual Accessibility
- Listening Devices are available through the Ticket Office. Please bring a photo ID to check out the Listening Devices.
- American Sign Language interpreters may be arranged by contacting the Ticket Office two weeks prior to the performance. Deaf students attending a performance for a required course assignment should make arrangements with University Accessibility Services. Please inform the BYU-Idaho Ticket Office if you intend to request an interpreter so we may secure the proper seat location for your tickets to the event.
- Printed copies of scripts can be provided to patrons who are hearing-impaired. To ensure proper seating, patrons should request this service 2 weeks prior to the performance they would like to attend. Scripts must be returned at the conclusion of the performance due to copyright and licensing regulations.
Service Animals
- BYU-Idaho reasonably accommodates persons with disabilities who require the assistance of service animals. A service animal that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability is allowed. Pets and comfort (therapy) animals are not permitted on University property. Students and employees are required to abide by the Service Animal Policy.
- Service animals may not block aisles, stairways, or egress points. Additionally, service animals must be seated on the floor near the patron they serve and are not permitted in theatre seats. If your service animals require additional space at your feet, please contact the Ticket Office.
Please make any additional arrangements for any accessibility concerns with the Ticket Office at least 3 weeks in advance.
