Event Policies
Thank you for your interest in attending a performance at BYU-Idaho. To make your experience the most pleasant it can be, please be aware of the following attendance and ticketing policies. Don’t hesitate to contact the Ticket Office if you have any questions.
Tickets
- Each ticket has a unique barcode. This barcode only permits one entry per scan. Unauthorized duplication or sale of this ticket may prevent your admittance to the event.
- For greater transparency, BYUI Live! does not add surprise service fees at checkout. The price you see is the price you pay. All processing fees and Idaho sales tax are already included in the ticket price.
Performances
- Times, dates, locations, ticket prices, and programs are subject to change without notice. Please check the ticket office website prior to the day of the event for the most recent information.
- General admission tickets are released 10 minutes prior to the start of the event and will be honored if seats are available.
- Events in the Hart and BYU-Idaho Center do not have standby lines. Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the Events Staff.
- No food or drink, oversized bags, strollers or other large items, artificial noisemakers, signs or banners, laser pointers, video cameras, weapons, skateboards, or any other item deemed dangerous or obtrusive are not allowed into any event venue.
- Children under 6 will not be admitted (except to select events).
Exchanges and Refunds
- There are no refunds on tickets. All sales are final. Treat your ticket as cash or any other valuable.
- Exchanges may be possible for a different date or time of the same show as long as the exchange is completed prior to the show.
Late Seating Policy
- Latecomers will be seated at the discretion of the Event Staff. Seats are not guaranteed after the performance has begun.
Student & Employee Discounts
- Students and employees of BYU-Idaho qualify for student-priced tickets.
- K-12 students may also purchase tickets at the BYUI discounted student rate by showing a school photo ID at the Ticket Office inside the University Store.
- Limit six discounted tickets per ID.

- Event Management and University Security reserve the right to remove anyone from the venue who is deemed disruptive.
- Water-based haze and mist are sometimes used in events. No chemicals are used.
