Same Gender Attraction And LGBTQ+ Support
BYU-Idaho students who experience same gender attraction often need a safe place for support and understanding. BYU-Idaho seeks to provide a protected, conscious, and empathetic environment for all students, including the LGBTQ+ community.
Where Can I Get Counseling For LGBTQ+ Support?
The BYU-Idaho Counseling Center in Rexburg, Idaho, offers individual counseling and LGBTQ+ support groups to help those who experience same gender attraction. Our professional counselors offer counseling for many social, emotional, and psychological challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community. We will help you with any issues that affect your spiritual, academic, and social well-being.
LGBTQ+ Support Groups
In addition to individual counseling, the Counseling Center offers two support groups to assist BYU-Idaho students in the LGBTQ+ community. Support groups address common issues:

Depression
Stress
Social difficulties
Family tensions
Other issues that might arise
