Background
Sister Maroon grew up in a small town in northern AZ (St. Johns). She lived and worked on the east coast of the U.S. and internationally in Europe for 15 years. She worked for Colgate-Palmolive and Deloitte as a Human Resources professional. She is passionate about social issues such as the world-wide refugee crisis and improving educational opportunities for children in 3rd-world countries. She has worked with various non-profits to address these issues. She and her husband have 4 children. They both enjoy teaching at BYU-I and investing in stocks and real estate on the side.
