Management Academic Societies

The following are Business Management Department-related academic societies are currently operating on campus.
As the "Unifying Voice for Advertising," the American Advertising Federation (AAF), headquartered in Washington, D.C., is the trade association that represents 50,000 professionals in the advertising industry. AAF's college-chapter program has 210 affiliated chapters throughout the United States and abroad. AAF provides numerous programs to guide its college students through advertising curriculum and job placement. AAF's programs include the following: internship opportunities, scholarships, career guides, industry mentors, and networking with top agency and corporate recruiters. BYU-Idaho's chapter of AAF participates in a regional competition each year.
The BYU-Idaho Agribusiness Management Society (AGBM) is a student-led organization focused on the intersection of agriculture and business. Their objectives include promoting awareness and understanding of agribusiness, fostering networking opportunities with industry professionals, and providing resources and educational events to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers in the agribusiness sector.
The purpose of the Corporate Finance Society (CFS) is to enhance students’ learning and professional growth by providing opportunities for students to better prepare themselves academically and professionally. CFS exists to broaden and enhance the learning experience, increase professional opportunities, provide leadership opportunities, and much more!
The Entrepreneurship Society at BYU-Idaho provides knowledge, relationships, and inspiration for students and others to start their own businesses!
The Human Resource Society provides opportunities, skill-development, and networking to help fulfill each member's education, community, and workplace goals. This is done through mentoring, service, knowledge-based meetings, and events to become disciple leaders and HR professionals.

The BYU-Idaho Management Society is a student organization dedicated to promoting leadership and management skills among students. Their objectives include organizing professional development events, connecting students with industry leaders, and providing resources and networking opportunities to help students succeed in the field of management and develop the necessary skills to excel in leadership roles within organizations.
The Public Relations Student Society of America's (PRSSA) purpose is to prepare BYU-Idaho students to successfully transition into the public relations industry by offering exceptional understanding and experience through workshops, portfolio building, professional networking, and internship opportunities.
The Women in Business Society is a BYU-Idaho student organization that focuses on teaching women business skills that are not always present in the classroom.
