The Testing Center's set hours, including semester, special events, and testing conditions, are available for students to prepare before entering the center.

Semester Closures

The BYU-Idaho Testing Center will be closed during the following dates/times:
Thursday, April 24 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm (during forum hour for a department training)
• Monday, May 26, for Memorial Day
• Thursday, June 19, for Juneteenth
• Friday & Saturday, July 4 & 5 for Independence Day
• Friday, July 25, for Pioneer Day

Special Hours - The Testing Center will be closed Tuesdays for Devotional from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (students who check in by 10:00 a.m. on Tuesdays will need to finish their exams by 11:00 a.m.). We are closed on all university holidays, Saturdays on General Conference weekends, and semester-specific closures. Please refer to semester-specific closures in the blue section above labeled “Semester Closures.”

Testing Assessment Records System (TARS)
All exam types (Computer-based, paper/pencil, bubble sheet, etc.) will be scheduled through TARS.
