The city of Rexburg is in the process of building a new airport on U.S. Highway 33. The site has been approved and is currently undergoing environmental studies and is in the beginning stages of a land swap with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).

Idahoans for Open Primaries and other groups in Idaho are pushing to change the way elections work in the state. They’ve gathered more than 84,000 signatures to put an initiative on the November ballot that will ask voters if they want a “Top-four Primary” and a “Ranked-choice” voting system on the general election ballot.
