Alumni Association

Whether attending last year or 50 years ago, our alumni represent today's university to those they meet.  In fact, our over 150,000 alumni have, as Jacob Spori envisioned in 1888, become "mighty oaks" all over the world.  We in the Alumni Association hope to keep college memories alive and keep our alumni connected with their alma mater.

The mission of the BYU-Idaho Alumni Association is to preserve and enhance the ‘Spirit of Ricks'.  We accomplish this by helping alumni: 

1. Know and understand the direction, mission, and successes of BYU-Idaho
2. Feel a continued connection with BYU-Idaho, fellow alumni, and current students
3. Contribute their time, talents, and resources to the university
   

Actively informed, connected, and involved alumni are living testimonies of BYU-Idaho as they are disciple leaders in their homes, church, and community.  They support BYU-Idaho's mission by being ambassadors, advocates, mentors, role models, teachers, donors, employers, our ‘eyes and ears' and personal examples of the value of a BYU-Idaho education and the ‘Spirit of Ricks'.

The information on this site will help you receive all of the benefits of the Alumni Association.  For example, we can help you stay informed with the Alumni and Friends News Flash and BYU-Idaho magazine.  You can reconnect with former classmates on Alumni Connections, reunions, and alumni tours.    You can support BYU-Idaho by becoming an Alumni Ambassador or giving to the BYU-Idaho Fund.  We also hope you take advantage of the services provided by your Alumni Association.
