Shared Responsibility Means Getting Involved

Roommates get involved.

Sometimes roommates go through struggles and need some extra support. Whether it's mental health concerns, social troubles, or financial issues, you can be a positive support for your struggling roommate.

Choose to get involved by taking sincere interest. If you see a change in a roommate's behavior, ask about it and listen with your full attention. If it is something that might require help from campus or ecclesiastical resources, encourage your roommate to get help. Sometimes all that is needed for someone to change is knowing they are loved.
