Love is Being Observant

Love is Being Observant

Love requires action.

Elder David A. Bednar taught that one of the hallmarks of a disciple of Jesus Christ is to be "quick to observe" (Mormon 1:2). When we are observant of others and seek their welfare, we can more easily show love to them.

When we are quick to observe, we show love promptly without hesitation. As you go about your daily routines at home and at classes, be observant of others and who might need a friend or a bit of encouragement. By doing this, you will be an instrument in the hands of the Lord in lifting the hearts of others and drawing them closer to Him.
