Enjoy your guests – just not at the expense of your roommates!

One of the perks of student living is social activities. Your apartment will often be the setting of some of your most memorable college experiences, and social activities are a major part of that.

When planning to spend time at your apartment, whether inviting a friend, a date, or a group of friends, be considerate of your roommates. Not everyone likes having a lot of guests at their home. When you plan social activities and would like to use your apartment for guests, talk with your roommates first. Be considerate of their wants and needs. Maybe one of them is studying for a test and needs the apartment to be quiet. Perhaps there's a roommate that doesn't feel comfortable having guests over. Or maybe your roommates would like to have some guests over, too!
