Types of Reservations We Offer

The Ropes Course offers two types of reservations: afternoon open registration and large group reservations for team building. See what reservation works best for you.

Afternoon Open Registration

Individual and small group reservations are available most afternoons. Walk-ups are welcome if there are spots available.

Try out the zipline, ropes course, and QuickFlight for two hours. Team building activities are not included.

Make Your Reservation

Groups and Team Building

Reserve the ropes course in advance for groups of eight people or more. Enjoy name games, ground-based learning games, low ropes course activities, and then one of our high ropes activities, such as the power pole, giant swing, are aerial park.

The Ropes Course also hosts BYU-Idaho campus activity teams, societies, and clubs for an unforgettable experience.

Teachers may bring students for a customizable lesson that conforms to your curriculum.

Reservations must be made at least 7 days in advance but no more than 90 days.

Group reservations must be scheduled through the Scheduling Office at (208) 496-3120.

Cancellations

  • All cancellations must occur 3 business days before your event time
  • Cancellations less than 3 days in advance incur a $25 cancellation fee
  • Groups who do not show up for scheduled times are charged a $50 no-show fee

There are no fee cancellations or rescheduling due to inclement weather. Weather cancellations and reschedules can only be made on the day of arrival.

Participation Restrictions
  • Participants must be at least 54" tall and weigh between 70 - 285 pounds to access the Ropes Course
  • Children under 11 years-old must be accompanied by an adult over 18 years-old who will also participate (a 1:1 ratio)
  • There is no age or weight restrictions for lower initiatives, team building, communication, and problem solving activities
Waivers
  • All participants must sign an electronic waiver
  • Children under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver on their behalf
  • No paper waivers are accepted
Proper Attire
  • Shorts are acceptable, but must be modest
  • Avoid clothing that restricts movement
  • Remove jewelry, neckerchiefs, sharp objects in pockets, large belt buckles, and watches
  • Tie back long hair
  • Wear weather-appropriate clothing (e.g., layered clothing for cooler weather)
  • Tennis shoes or light hiking boots should be worn. Keep shoelaces tied
  • Flip-flops are not an appropriate footwear
