Religious Education Degree Requirements

Religion Credit Policy for All Degree-Seeking Students

All degree-seeking students must complete the required cornerstone courses listed under the drop-down lists below. In addition, students must take additional religion course to complete requirements for graduation. Students wondering how many graduation credits they still need to take should review their Grad Plan and meet with Advising to ensure they meet the graduation requirements specific to their major.

Set Up Appointment with Academic Advising

The BYU-Idaho catalog states that students are responsible for completing their General Education (Foundations for catalog years before 2019) requirements according to their degree catalog. In most cases, the religion credit requirements for degree-seeking students who do not have any transfer credits are as follows:
