To mark the 50th anniversary of the Teton Dam flood, Rexburg is hosting a lighthearted pageant this Friday at Porter Park. Organized by survivors Pat Hepworth and Gwyn Harris to bring "a little levity" to the tragedy, the event features three local survivors: Jackie Sare, Anna Bjornn, and 95-year-old Verla Archibald all competing for the title of "Flood Mud Queen." The evening will include talent routines, a group musical number, and a crowning ceremony.
