In his concluding remarks at the April 2022 general conference, President Russell M. Nelson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced plans to build 17 new temples throughout the world. They will be constructed in the following locations:

The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has announced changes to upcoming general conferences of the Church, which are held each April and October.
Temple Square, one of Utah’s top tourist attractions, will begin a phased reopening on June 14. The Conference Center will be the first to welcome guests, with additional facilities to follow in coming months.
