Red Cliffs Utah Temple open house begins this week

St. George Utah temple is opening to the public for tours on Thursday

REXBURG—St. George, Utah will have an open house for the new Red Cliffs Utah Temple starting Feb. 1 and ending March 2.

Officials from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints held a conference announcing the open house today, inviting locals to tour the inside of the temple. Free reservations are available online, and all are invited to come and explore the sacred space before its dedication.

The tour is predicted to take around 40 minutes and will be wheelchair accessible. The tour will take guests through the temple, exploring details inspired by the surrounding nature. The dwarf bearclaw poppy, Indian paintbrush, cottonwood leaves, pomegranates and succulent emblems will be seen throughout the temple.

President Henry B. Eyring, the second councilor in the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ is expected to dedicate the temple on March 24. More information is available here.
