Braden Chancellor, an undergraduate curator at the David O. McKay Library at BYU-Idaho, has put together a new exhibit at the library titled, “Controversial Conversations.” The exhibit highlights the trend of book banning that has been widespread throughout the United States, recently. He invites students, faculty and the public to get involved in the conversation as the exhibit showcases the history of book banning the world over.

Benjamin Pacini is a faculty member in the Elementary, Early, and Special Education Department at BYU-Idaho. From a young age, all that he wanted to do was teach, and now he shares his passion with others looking to follow in his footsteps. His journey was one of faith, learning and growth.

SodaVine held a ribbon cutting for the opening of its second location in Rexburg at noon on Tuesday.

In life, each person will face difficult trials, like the loss of a loved one, and sometimes traumatic experiences that could lead to long-term sadness. Each trial can become a learning experience that can help grow a testimony of Jesus Christ.

Martin Dietze-Hermosa, a faculty member in the Human Performance and Recreation Department at BYU-Idaho, says the department has so much to offer. He invites all who are interested to get involved by joining a society. He also shares his testimony that the faculty on campus are here to help the students and that Heavenly Father loves His children.

BYU-Idaho Radio will broadcast each session of the October 2023 general conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints on each of its channels.

Jason Williams, the dean of the College of Language and Letters at BYU-Idaho, gave the BYU-Idaho devotional on September 26, 2023. He spoke about The Book of Mormon and how it teaches about the importance of repentance. He also elaborated on the topic in an interview with BYU-Idaho Radio.

Chris Hall is the assistant general manager of the Idaho Falls Spud Kings junior hockey league team. The Spud Kings begin their season on October 7. Ahead of the first face-off, Hall talks about the recruiting process and the fun promotions coming to the ice this season.

On Wednesday, Idaho Falls announced plans for the next phase of the Idaho Falls Civic Center for the Performing Arts renovation including a new name.
