President Ballard died Sunday night surrounded by loved ones.

This year marks the 57th edition of the Festival of Trees in Idaho Falls. The festival gives residents the chance to buy a Christmas tree while supporting DWI, formerly the Development Workshop. Mike O’Bleness, the president of the festival, talked with BYU-Idaho Radio about the history of the festival and what it has to offer.

Community members, veterans and Madison High School students honored veterans Friday in the annual Rexburg Area Chamber of Commerce Veterans Day ceremony.

The city of Rexburg is holding its annual Veterans Day celebration on Friday, November 10. The event is being hosted by the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce inside the Madison High School gymnasium. The event includes music and inspiring words and begins at 10 a.m. Janalyn Holt, the CEO of the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce, sat down with BYU-Idaho Radio to discuss the festivities.

BYU-Idaho's Books and Buddies program is happening this month.

There are only a handful of times where BYU-Idaho choir music has been recorded and made into an album with limited public access. Now, thanks to the eagerness of one BYU-Idaho music professor, some of the recordings are available digitally.

Madison High School brings a classic musical to the stage with “The Music Man.”

The Teton Vu Drive-In is getting a frosty makeover this winter as it's converted into a seasonal ice-skating rink and music venue. These activities will open this weekend.
