Deputies and firefighters will face off in the 14th annual Guns vs. Hoses charity softball game on July 25 at Melaleuca Field to raise money for Make-A-Wish Idaho. Fans can donate to influence the game with fun challenges, with all proceeds going toward granting wishes for local children.

Larry Gold shared that he wants to bring the city of Rexburg together with his time as the Rexburg Farmer’s Market president. One way he is doing this is by inviting community members and groups to participate in the market.

The Aisle is a new 7,000-square-foot wedding and event venue in Sugar City, offering everything from simple space rentals to full-service weddings with food, floral, and coordination. Owner Debbie Baggett, a longtime wedding decorator, says she opened the venue to help BYU-Idaho brides and their out-of-state families plan stress-free celebrations.

Real Estate Two70’s Sydney McCleve arranged an Amazing Race-style competition for the people of Rexburg. The grand prize will be over $5,000. There will be vendors, bouncy houses and fun for all at Porter Park.

This weekend, BYU-Idaho will crown its inaugural “Mr. BYU-I" in the school’s first men’s pageant.

After one of the driest springs on record, Idaho’s water supply is under strain, prompting officials to warn of potential shortages later this year. Hydrologists say a cooler, wetter summer could help, but continued heat will likely lead to tighter water conditions, especially in southeastern Idaho.
