The fires burning in southern California continue to spread, even affecting at least one BYU-Idaho student. Churches in the area are requesting prayers.

Rexburg has always been an active town and on Feb. 8 at 10 a.m., a Nordic ski cross-country race is happening at the Rexburg Winter Fest at the Teton Lakes Golf Course.

Senator Doug Ricks, R-Dist. 34, has served Idaho in the legislature for years now.
