Hundreds gathered in Rexburg for the grand opening of the new Nitro gas station and Swig soda shop, featuring free drinks, discounted food, and big raffle prizes. Organizers emphasized creating a welcoming, community-focused environment, with Swig planning future expansion to Idaho Falls.

This weekend, Rexburg will continue its tradition where it remembers one of the most significant events in southeastern Idaho history: the collapse of the Teton Dam. In true community spirit, Rexburg and the surrounding area will commemorate the tragic 1976 disaster with the annual Teton Dam Marathon and a day full of festivities.

BYU-Idaho's outdoor activities will take students to Yellowstone National Park this weekend where they’ll get to see Old Faithful and other iconic sites. Lunch, transportation, and entrance to the park are included in the price of a ticket.
