The BYU Cougars dropped their second straight game to an unranked opponent, falling 79 to 71 to the West Virginia Mountaineers after another sluggish first-half performance. Head coach Kevin Young called his team’s effort “inexcusable” as BYU now looks to regroup before closing the regular season, including a key matchup against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
