About Sinfonietta
The BYU-Idaho Sinfonietta is the premier orchestra on campus, comprised of students with an extensive background in music who adhere to ambitious rehearsal and performance schedules.
Under the direction of Dr. Robert Tueller and Dr. Dallin Hansen, the Brigham Young University-Idaho Sinfonietta is a chamber orchestra comprised of 38 accomplished orchestral musicians from all parts of the United States. These members are selected through a competitive audition process and represent some of the finest musicians at BYU-Idaho.
Designed to provide a near-professional experience, students prepare and perform advanced repertoire from the 17th through the 20th centuries. BYU-Idaho's Chamber Orchestra delivers musical excellence with the power to touch and inspire all audiences.
