Fine Art: 3D Emphasis (B.A.)

As a student in the 3D emphasis, you will be taught basic ceramics and/or sculpture skills. These skills include throwing, hand-building, mold-making, assemblage, and figure modeling. You will create a portfolio of work preparing you for a lifetime of involvement in the arts. The portfolio will include exhibiting your work in galleries, seeking commissions, creating 3D works for personal enjoyment, or pursuing graduate schooling.

3D Program Introduction

The Bachelor of Arts degree is designed to provide students with experiences in a range of visual arts and knowledge of contemporary and historical artists. It will also prepare students for success in one of several disciplines within the visual arts, including Photography, Two-dimensional Art, and Three-dimensional Art.

As a student in the 3D emphasis, you will add a new dimension to your thinking. The classes you take will give you hands-on experience in creating and innovating. The 3D experience will help broaden how you think, design, and conceptualize.
