Grad Fest – Wednesday, April 5, 2023
Grad Fest will be held on April 5 from 9 am–6 pm in the University Store in the Manwaring Center.

BYU-Idaho Alumni invites all graduates, including those not marching in Commencement, to attend Grad Fest. At Grad Fest, graduation candidates will pick up their cap, gown, and tassel. Graduation candidates can save $10 by pre-ordering their cap, gown, and tassel online from Herff-Jones from January 20 – February 24, 2023. After this date, cap, gown, and tassel bundles or tassel-only purchases can be made at the University Store or online at www.byuistore.com up until graduation day. While the store does its best to have inventory for all graduates, there is no guarantee that clothing will be available to purchase. Orders are filled on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Graduation candidates will also pick up their name card for Convocation and confirm the University has the correct information to mail their diploma. The University Store will have a select number of memorabilia items reflective of the BYU-Idaho experience available for purchase at 20% off. Graduation candidates will be able to enter into a drawing for great prizes and enjoy refreshments and other festivities at a celebratory send-off party.

If you’re unable to attend Grad Fest, name cards can still be picked up at the University Store on April 6, 2023, from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Parking

On April 6, there will be parking officers stationed around the busiest parts of campus to help answer questions and direct traffic. They will also be passing out colored paper indicating where patrons should park on campus. There will be four colors passed out to help traffic flow faster and help our officers know where to direct you. Please be kind and cooperative with our officers.

Blue- Handicapped/ Elderly
Green- General Parking
Orange- Drop off
Red- Exiting Campus

Elderly and handicapped parking will be provided at specific lots designated by signs. If you can walk longer distances, we ask you to be courteous of others and park further away from the I-Center so that those who are unable to walk as far can find convenient parking.
