The Society for the Advancement of Material and Process Engineering (SAMPE®) is a global professional member society that provides enhanced educational opportunities, by delivering information on new and advanced materials and processing technology. SAMPE provides growth and educational opportunities via conferences, exhibitions, technical forums, and publications. As the only technical society encompassing all fields of endeavor in materials and processes, SAMPE provides a unique and valuable forum for scientists, engineers, and academicians.

The American Welding Society is a non-profit organization that was founded to advance the science, technology and application of welding and allied joining and cutting processes, including brazing, soldering and thermal spraying.

The Biomedical Engineering Society is a group of students determined to acquire skills to change the world for the better. We work on projects related to health and wellness including medical devices, prosthetics, bionics, and more. We use skillsets from many majors (Engineering, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Programming, etc.) bringing them together to work cohesively and gain hands-on experience while here at BYU-Idaho. We also facilitate outreach to professionals for learning and networking through presentation and facility tours.

The BYU-Idaho Society of Manufacturing Engineers is an organization focused on promoting excellence in the field of manufacturing engineering. Their objectives include organizing workshops, industry tours, and technical competitions to enhance knowledge and skills in manufacturing processes and technologies, fostering a network of professionals and industry connections and providing a platform for students to explore and contribute to advancements in manufacturing engineering.

The only academic honor society that confers recognition on eligible individuals from all engineering disciplines. Tau Beta Pi recognizes those who have conferred honor upon their Alma Maters by distinguished scholarship and exemplary character as students in engineering or by their attainments as alumni in the field of engineering. They provide leadership and professional development training for engineering students and alumni members and promotes lifelong alumnus member involvement.

The Women Engineers Society helps women achieve their full potential as engineers and leaders, expand the image of the engineering profession as a positive force in improving the quality of life, and demonstrate the value of diversity.
