Kaitlynn Sorensen

Kaitlyn graduated with a degree in Agribusiness Management from BYU-Idaho, securing four job offers before graduation. She now works as a Land Management Specialist at AgReserves, where she collaborates with lease tenants and oversees farm operations to maintain land productivity and value. Her journey with AgReserves began as an Agronomist before advancing to a Financial Planning and Analysis Intern at the company’s headquarters, where she contributed to developing the 2025 G&A budget. Kaitlyn’s dedication and problem-solving skills helped her excel academically, earning her the Fall 2024 Ezra Taft Benson Award and leading her team to victory as PAS Society President.

Beyond her professional achievements, Kaitlyn’s faith has played a crucial role in her success. She believes in maintaining her values, which has earned her respect throughout her career. She recalls moments when the Lord guided her through prayer during critical decisions. She is especially grateful to Professor Jeremy Slade, who encouraged her to network and apply for jobs six months before graduation, setting a strong foundation for her career. As a proud BYU-Idaho alumna, Kaitlyn continues to demonstrate dedication and excellence, making a lasting impact wherever she goes.
