Bio

Nathan Jack joined BYU-Idaho in 2022 as a full-time faculty member in the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department. Between 2012 and 2022 he worked as a research and development engineer at Intel Corp in the reliability department with a primary focus on Electrostatic Discharge and Latchup protection. For the last 3 years of his tenure at Intel he was an engineering manager in the same department. Nathan also served for three years on the board of directors for the Electrostatic Discharge Association while at Intel.Nathan completed several internships at Micron Technology, IBM, and Intel Corp. while a student. He has been the recipient of several research and best paper awards, has published over 25 papers, and holds several patents.In his spare time, Nathan enjoys woodworking, camping, fishing, hiking, and crabbing. He and his wife have four children.
